| SAHARA volunteers have a unique and meaningful opportunity to join our efforts in serving the growing needs of the South Asian Community. SAHARA welcomes volunteers with a range of skills from basic computer knowledge to professional fields of expertise. |

| Support can be offered through, but is not limited too: |
- • Legal and medical help
• Instructing computer literacy classes • Creating flyers and newsletters • Escorting clients to appointments • Translating & Interpreting for clients • Fundraising • Office tasks (e.g.: mailing, filing, etc.) • Education mentoring

Volunteer Requirements:
- • 6 months commitment
• Minimum of 6-8 hours of service per month • Regular attendance at quarterly volunteer meetings • Direct client services require 40 hours domestic violence training
Steps for becoming a volunteer:
- • Read volunteer description and commitment
• Complete the Volunteer Application Form using the link below
- • Attend a volunteer orientation on the 1st or 3rd Friday of each month (by appointment)
