SAHARA’s Education center was created to empower underserved women with an equal opportunity to succeed by promoting computer literacy, intellectual growth, creativity and self-discipline to achieve greater independence.
To fulfill this mission SAHARA has created Project PoWER (Providing Women with Enterprise Resources), a program designed to increase computer literacy, marketable skills and self-sufficiency for women. Project PoWER is hosted in SAHARA’s Education Center, offering 100% hands-on, quality short and long term computer training classes on PC. Our highly trained volunteers lead the computer training sessions in various beginners to advanced topics.
